Demopolis BOE makes personnel changes in called meeting

In a brief called meeting Wednesday, the Demopolis Board of Education approved several personnel matters.

Demopolis High School softball coach Brandi Dannelly no longer will be a physical education teacher at DHS but will work three days at the school and two days in Hale County as a Career Coach. The shift was approved by the State Board of Education, said Supt. Kyle Kallhoff.

Substitutes approved include retired teacher Ola Ross; Louise Hill and Faye Carstarphen with sub licenses and Carol Sullivan as a sub in lunchrooms only.

Jennifer Skelton was removed from the sub roster because of full-time employment elsewhere.

Lataya Fluker, Pre-K Aide at Westside Elementary, received maternity leave beginning Dec. 18, and Mandy Fields was named her sub.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the board will be Oct. 15 at 5:15 p.m.
