“We are excited to announce the recipients of Fall Grants and appreciate the hard work of the Grants committee,” said Peter Michael Reynolds, Foundation president. “We also want to thank our donors for their continued support allowing us to further our mission of encouraging excellencein the classroom which has permitted us to award classroom grants totaling more than $1.3 million since 1993.”

“I also want to thank our Grants Committee for all of their hard work,” added Ashley Coplin, executive Director of the DCSF. “This grant round included applications from last spring and this fall due to classroom instruction going virtual last March with requests totaling $119,594.78. We appreciate the continued support of our donors, and we anticipate having another grant round in the Spring.”

Paul Miller, Grants Committee chairman, said, “We want to recognize and thank all the teachers and staff members that applied and especially those receiving grants for the great ideas that demonstrate the fundamental purpose of the Foundation, enhancing the opportunity for the children of Demopolis to learn.”
