‘Days Gone Bye’ author shares memories with Rotary Club

Local attorney Tom Boggs shared memories of his duties as an Army lieutenant during the height of the Civil Rights movement with the Demopolis Rotary Club Wednesday.

Boggs is the senior partner at Lloyd & Dinning law firm.  He is a retired Green Beret colonel and, in addition to still practicing law at age 80, he is the only cowboy on his active beef cattle farm.  

He has written the weekly newspaper column “Days Gone Bye” for more than 25 years and is publishing a book entitled Magnolia Blossoms and Bad Tasting Water.
