ASCC honors 30 Marengo County students
Alabama Southern Community College hosted high school students with a luncheon sponsored by Mt. Mariah M.B. Church on May 13 on the Thomasville campus. Based on grade point average, the top ten students from local high schools were invited. The Top of the Class 2014 awards were given to the following students:
From Jackson High School: Chloe Pugh, Olivia Green, Jerel Merida, Ethan Reid, Kayla Rowland, Sally Outlaw, Marlee Harrell, Mallory Butts, Nakedra Rivers and Jasmine Coates.
From Thomasville High School: Thomas Smyly, Jacobs Brewer, Claire Boone, Lauren Kynard, Mariah Walker, Ginger Gartman, Hannah Sparks, Andrew Stephens, Sonya Burroughs and Alexa Taylor.
From Linden High School: Alexis Johnson, Feleshia Dukes, Jeanette Taft, Kristi Jones, Challis Compton, Shana McCorvey, Dyamond Williams, Imoras Agee, De’Marcus Bright and Lyric Jones.
