4-H plans variety of summer day camps for students

Marengo County 4-H is offering five day camps this summer for students ages 9-18. Topics range from rifle and archery to sewing.

A one-day Outdoor Adventure camp will be Thursday, June 9, at Foscue Park in Demopolis from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $5 per student. Sponsoring the camp with 4-H are the Corps of Engineers and the Friends of Foscue.

The rest of the summer camps will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Marengo County Extension Office, 2400 E. Coates Ave, Linden. The fee for each one is $10 per student which includes any supplies.
