Home invasion leads to four arrests

Thursday, the Demopolis Police Department responded to a report of a home invasion and robbery in the Bell Grayson Road area.

The victim state that three males entered her home and held her at gunpoint while stealing several items. During the course of the robbery, the suspects reportedly fired shots that hit an adjacent residence.

DPD investigators located all three suspects and an additional suspect in Greensboro and transported each back to the Demopolis Police Department.

DPD officers arrested Odell Taylor III, 28, of Linden, Bobby Lester Harris, 20, of Greensboro, Curtis Lamar White, 19, of Greensboro and Jasmeka Trushay Robinson, 20 of Greensboro.

All four suspects are charged with Robbery First Degree and Shooting into an Occupied Building.

They are currently in the Marengo County Detention Center awaiting bond.

No victims were injured during the incident but DPD chief Tommie Reese noted the victims were very emotional following the home invasion. Reese stated he is proud of the work done by the DPD’s Criminal Investigation Division in quickly resolving the case.
