UWA stays at 14 in AFCA poll

UWA vs Delta State-4513WACO, Texas – The top 17 spots in the AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll remained the same, including West Alabama (4-1) at No. 14, as only one team in the Top 25 lost this past week.

The Tigers host top-ranked Valdosta State (4-0) in a Gulf South Conference matchup Thursday at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:35 p.m. for the game, which will be televised GSC-TV LIVE.

Other Top 25 matchups this week include No. 21 Tarleton State (Texas) hosting No. 4 West Texas A&M in a key Lone Star Conference game and No. 5 Colorado State-Pueblo traveling to No. 19 Chadron State (Neb.) with first place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on the line.
