Three arrested following gunfight
On Sept. 21, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Patrick Antonio Griffin, B/M, age 27, and
Jeremy Dion Griffin, B/M, age 24, both of Demopolis, Ala. Both were charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Unoccupied Dwelling and Discharging a Firearm into Unoccupied Vehicle.
Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese said the mother of the two brought them to the police department.
“For that, I say thank you,” said Reese.
Also arrested was Donald Eugene Beal, B/M, age 25 of Demopolis, Ala., who was charged with Fighting in a Public Place with a Firearm.
All parties involved were charged after getting into a fight and later firing shots at each other. Some of those shots struck an apartment house and a parked vehicle.
One suspect, Gerald Johnson is still at large.
