Suspect arrested, charged in Lomax murder

Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese reported that Wesley turned himself in to Demopolis Police and the U.S. Marshal Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force on Thursday morning around 4:30 a.m. Wesley was arrested without incident.

According to police reports, Lomax was murdered at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Wolf Circle in Demopolis.

The suspect was processed at DPD following his Thursday morning arrest and later transported to the Marengo County Detention Center to await a bond hearing.

Reese thanked the family of Wesley for their assistance in bringing him into custody, and also thanked the members of the Demopolis Police Department as well as the U.S. Marshal Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
