On Friday, Marion Military Institute held a flag dedication ceremony at 8 a.m. at the Ireland Athletic Center. At this time, the cadet color guard raised the colors in front of MMI senior staff. Mr. Lucius Rayfield of Marion donated the labor to have two new flagpoles installed on campus; contributions to the MMI Capital Campaign also funded the project. The other new flagpole is located at the Scott Davis Baseball Field.
