Meredith Hill, a freshman at the University of Alabama and a 2015 graduate of Demopolis High School, was invited to a Leadership/Scholars luncheon with Terry Saban, UA President Stuart Bell, and gymnastics coach Dana Duckworth, along with a select few UA freshmen on Oct. 15.  All of the students in attendance were awarded $3500 Buffalo Rock/Pepsi Leadership scholarships towards tuition.

The criteria for the scholarship was that the students had to have been a well-rounded high school student, strong in academics, sports, and community service.  Hill previously received the UA Alumni Leadership Scholarship.  She was thrilled and surprised to receive this honor.  Hill is a member of the Kappa Delta social sorority and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Willy Hill. Hill is majoring in accounting with a specialization in marketing.
