McIntyre graduates Magna cume laude from UWA

Copy (1) of IMG_8732Ciara Dawn McIntyre graduated Magna cume laude from The University of West Alabama on Dec. 12 at Pruitt Gymnasium with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While attending UWA, McIntyre worked at the Fitness Center as a Fitness Instructor and at the front desk. She was also worked in the Aquatics Center teaching swimming lessons, water aerobics and served as head lifeguard.

McIntyre is very active at UWA. She is part of LEAD (Livingston Early Alumni Development), Exercise Science Club, was selected as 2013 Livingston Loveliest and was the 2014 Miss Paragon. McIntyre is a member of several honor societies: Omicron Delta Kappa -Secretary, Blue Key – Vice President, Phi Eta Sigma – President, Cardinal Key –Vice President, Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Delta Pi, and Alpha Epsilon Delta National Member. Ciara is the daughter of Timmy and Raycelia McIntyre of Dixon’s Mills, the granddaughter of Harold and Doris Agee of Thomasville and Faye McIntyre of Dixon’s Mills and the late Cecil McIntyre. Upon graduation, Ciara will work at YD Medical while she obtains her Master’s of Business Administration.
