Lady Tigers trounce Thomasville in road tilt

The Demopolis Lady Tigers hit the road Wednesday for a 10-1 win over rival Thomasville High School.

Sophomore catcher Abbey Latham went 4-for-4 with a double, three RBIs, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored. Courtney Smith was 2-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and three runs scored.

Jessica Adams and Holli Gandy each scored a run. Natalie Tatum finished 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. Kendall Hannah was 3-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and a run scored. Taylor Smith was 1-for-3 with a sacrifice bunt.

Jade Montgomery went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Cameron Th0mason went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and a run scored.

Elly Brown finished 1-for-2 with one RBI and a run scored. The Lady Tigers tallied 10 runs on 16 hits while Tatum limited Thomasville to one run on five hits. She also struck out four in the contest.
