Lady Tigers shut out Jackson

JACKSON β€” Danielle Tatum tossed a one-hit shutout to spur Demopolis (5-6-1) to a 4-0 road win over Jackson Tuesday afternoon.

Tatum struck out six over seven innings while walking one on the way to the win. The Lady Tiger offense strung together enough hits to make the effort stand up as six different players recorded base hits in the contest.

Victoria Washburn went 1-for-3 with a single and a run scored. Tatum went 1-for-3 with a single, allowing Hanna Malone to score in her stead as a courtesy runner.
