Former UWA lineman to Arena League

rp_primary_Chuck_Curry_2010SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers have announced that former University of West Alabama offensive lineman Chuck Curry will be joining the team for the 2014 Arena Football League season.

This will mark the first season in the AFL and with the Rattlers for Curry.

Curry, 6-5 and 330-pounds, joins another former UWA player with the 2012 and 2013 Arena Bowl Champions. Rattlers head coach Kevin Guy also played for the Tigers. Curry and Guy were both included amongst Bleacher Report’s “Greatest University of West Alabama Football Players of All Time.”

In 2010, when Curry attended the University of West Alabama, he played for an offensive unit that accrued 4,941 yards of total offense and scored 327 points.
