First Presbyterian to host Missions Conference Feb. 20-22

First Presbyterian Church, Demopolis will hold its 29th annual Missions Conference Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22.

The keynote speaker is native Alabamian and former missionary, Earl Adams. Earl has served as a church planter along with his family in Peru and Bolivia and is currently an assistant pastor at Trinity Presbyterian in Jackson, Miss.

Missionary guests include Robert and Lisa Stewart, Japan; Beth Acton and Joy Ayabe, Papua New Guinea; and David Richardson, Palmer Home for Children in Columbus, Miss. Also joining the event on Saturday night and Sunday morning will be the Treble Makers, the children’s choir from Palmer Home.  That’s a special treat you will not want to miss!

Friday, Feb. 20

6:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Fellowship Soup Supper

7:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Worship Service ** (Stewart’s, David Richardson-Palmer Home) Keynote:  Rev. Earl Adams

8:30 – 9:00 p.m. – Refreshments and informal fellowship with missionaries

Saturday, February 21

8:00 – 9:15 a.m. – Men’s prayer breakfast   (donations)   (Robert Stewart, David Richardson, Earl Adams)

11:30 a.m. – Ladies Lunch**   (Beth Acton & Joy Ayabe, Lisa Stewart)  $6

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – BBQ Supper  (pork/chicken)   $5/plate;  $15 family

6:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Worship service **   (Beth Acton/Joy Ayabe) Keynote: Rev. Earl Adams
