DPD arrests one for Family Dollar burglary

The Demopolis Police Department arrested 18-year-old Demetrius Ruffin for third degree burglary.

A routine patrol by the DPD June 14 discovered a window broken out of the Family Dollar Store. Officers discovered that the building, located in the Demopolis Shopping Plaza, had been broken into after a subject threw a brick through the window. The DPD Crime Scene Unit collected evidence from the scene, which led to the arrest of one suspect with other arrests still possible.
