Demopolis JV tops Thomasville

The Demopolis High junior varsity baseball team gritted out a gutsy 3-2 win at Thomasville Friday night.

Matthew Trest started worked three strong innings on the mound before handing the ball to Jacob Rodrigues. The freshman pitched four scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Seth Aiken went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles. Clay White went 1-for-4 with a single. Adam Sellers finished 2-for-3 with two singles and a RBI. Trest went 1-for-1 with a single and two walks. Jeremy Hines went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in the contest.

The Demopolis JV squad is scheduled to host Hale County Monday.
