Demopolis High-Demopolis Academy reunion committee to meet
A reunion is being planned for all graduates of Demopolis High School and Demopolis Academy, Classes of 1970-1980.
“We are in the process of planning the reunion to take place on Oct. 31 and Nov. 01, 2014,” said planning committee member Phillip Spence. “We are having our fourth and possibly most important reunion meeting on August 10 starting at 2:00 p.m. at Rooster Hall, next to City Hall in Demopolis. All graduates and committee members are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting to hear reports from each committee chair and discuss any changes or additions to our format of events.”
Spence said the planning committee is in need of ideas and input for the event. “So please come out, mingle with old friends and let’s finalize plans for the best reunion ever,” he said. “We’re looking forward to seeing you there and hearing what visions you have. See you all on August 10th, and please spread the word!”
