Demopolis High announces youth baseball camp for Jan. 31

The Demopolis High School baseball team is set to host its annual baseball camp Saturday, Jan. 31 at the DHS baseball field. The fee for the camp is $25 and registration forms are available at DHS, U.S. Jones Elementary School, Westside Elementary School and from DHS baseball players.

The fee includes participation at the camp, a pizza party with the DHS baseball team and a camp T-shirt. Registration forms must be submitted by Jan. 20 to guarantee a T-shirt.

The camp is for boys ages 5-12 and will take place in two sessions. The first session will be for boys ages 5-8 and will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to noon before the pizza party takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Boys ages 9-12 will participate in the pizza party at 12:30 p.m. while their registration takes place simultaneously. The second session of the camp will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Campers will be accepted up to the day of the event.
