Demopolis 7U All-Stars head to Monrovia for state tourney

Demopolis’ 2015 7U All-Star team left today for Monrovia and state tournament play. Shown above before leaving town are All-Star Wade Gandy, with parents Trey and Kelly and sister, Kendall. Other team members are Kaleb Branch, Jake Bumgarner, Colton Colgrove, Josiah Colgrove, Bryant Deas, Garret Hilchey, J.W. McAlpine, Lane Nall, Lennon Phillips, Jack Pritchett and Seth Turberville. Coaches are Edmund Colgrove, Joel Colgrove, Lee Pritchett, Trey Gandy and Vince Deas. The All-Stars open play with two games Saturday, at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The All-Stars thank the community for its support. More than $2,000 was raised to help with travel expenses and items for the boys.
