Crash claims life of Eutaw woman

GREENE COUNTY, Ala.—A two-vehicle crash at 5:38 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, claimed the life of a Eutaw woman and injured three others. Loretta Cameron, 57, was killed when the 1994 Toyota Corolla, in which she was a passenger, was struck by a 2006 Mitsubishi pickup driven by Bonny Stephens Minard, 48, of Gallion. Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, Albert Richardson, 81, of Demopolis, Minard and her passenger, Richard Lee Stephens, 57, also of Demopolis, were all transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The crash occurred on U.S. 11 near the 48 mile marker, approximately four miles north of Eutaw. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
