MEMBERS
My name is Clyde Fields and I have been living in the District 4 area of Black Warrior EMC for all of my life. I was born and raised in a Christian family, and started a construction business, Fields Masonry, LLC, 25 years ago with only a borrowed shovel and a wheelbarrow. This business has grown to be very successful. Through the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with many people, churches and businesses in West Central Alabama, providing them excellent customer service they could depend on. I’ve provided construction services for Demopolis Apartments and the city’s new Fire Department; Butler Apartments and Housing; Linden Baptist Church; Gallion Baptist Church; the construction of homes and churches in Hale County; and houses and schools in Greene and Sumter counties.
After being in business for 25 years, I know the importance of making good business decisions. I am currently serving as the District 4 Board of Trustees Member for Black Warrior EMC. I’ve worked hard with the Board to keep your power bills the lowest in Alabama. We continue to strive to provide excellent customer service by implementing new services, such as the automated outage reporting system, automated payments, and our new website. I’ve also worked with the Board to provide scholarships for talented high school graduates through the Electric Cooperative Foundation Scholarship Program.
I want to continue working with your Black Warrior Board to provide you the lowest power rates, while continuing to work with and listen to the concerns of the Black Warrior members. I pledge to continue to devote the time and energy that Black Warrior members deserve in fulfilling my duties on your Board of Trustees.
