“We are excited to have LaTisha on board as a Tiger,” UWA head coach Craig Roden said. “She is a difference maker type player who we expect to come in and do big things right off the bat. We believe she was the best guard available in the Mississippi junior colleges for our system.

“Her accolades as a player speak for themselves, but more importantly, she is accustomed to winning basketball games,” Roden said. “She is one of those players who expects to win every time she plays.”

The second player signed by the Tigers in the last week, McCullum averaged 12.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game while leading JCJC to the 2014 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges championship.

A product of Taylorsville (Miss.) High School, McCullum led her high school team to 24-4 record as a senior. She averaged 15.9 points per game in 51 career prep games. McCullum was a three-time all-district and three-time All-South State selection.
