UWA remains at 12 in D2Football.com poll

UWA vs Delta State-4081LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama football team remained No. 12 in this week’s D2Football.com Top 25 Poll after defeating Delta State, 48-14, last week. The first 22 spots in this week’s poll remained unchanged.

The Tigers (4-1) host No. 1 Valdosta State (4-0) Thursday in a Gulf South Conference showdown to determine the early leader the in league and help shape the national Division II football landscape. Both teams are 2-0 in GSC play.

The GSC-TV LIVE Network will televise the game. Kickoff is set for 6:35 p.m. CDT.

GSC-TV LIVE games are currently available on six different regional and national affiliates. The game will be shown regionally and nationally by ESPN3, Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS), Cox Sports Television (CST), Mediacom (Channel 77), the Alabama Cable Network (ACN), WJXS-TV 24 in Anniston, Ala., and WHCQ-TV in Cleveland, Miss.

The game will be shown locally on Mediacom Channel 8. Tiger fans should check with their cable or satellite provider to see if the game will be aired in their viewing area.
