Tigers fall to R.C. Hatch Friday

Despite getting three players to score in double figures, Demopolis could not overcome the offensive potency of visiting R.C. Hatch during a 78-63 loss Friday night.

The Tigers surrendered 24 points in the first quarter and 20 in the second to go down 44-26 by half.

Demopolis pulled to within 12 in the fourth quarter before Hatch opened the lead back up and proceeded to run time off the game clock.

Rashad Lynch led the Tigers with 16 points. Roderick Davis chipped in 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals for Demopolis while Kevin Isaac had 13 points. Cortez Lewis finished with nine points and five rebounds.Bobcat shooting guard Bakauri Jackson led all scorers with 25 points while Brandon Jones added 22 points. Jesse Goldsby finished with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Bobcats.

Demopolis plays again Tuesday when it travels to Clarke County.
