Thomas DeLoach

Thomas Pruett DeLoach, age 70, of Demopolis, died Dec. 14, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Demopolis with Rev. David Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. DeLoach; his mother, Frances B. DeLoach; and sister, Sarah D. Huckabee; and first cousin Forrest Faulkner Ray (Paul) of Piedmont, Ala. Survivors include nephews, Larry M. Huckabee of Demopolis, Jerry K. Huckabee (Donna) of Demopolis, and Grover C. Huckabee, III of Kennesaw, Ga.; first cousins, Elizabeth DeLoach, Robert W. (Gail) DeLoach, Martha (Frank) Nelson, Ralph (Patti) Rushing, Andrew Rushing, Carol (Don) Willis, Bobby Humphries, Mary Ann (James) Burkett, Fletcher DeLoach, Tyson (Sue) DeLoach, Betty Lynn (Dwight) Milligan, Jean (David) Allen, Wilhelmina DeLoach, Cary DeLoach, John Kyle DeLoach, and John (Kathy) DeLoach; first cousin’s on the Burge side, Charles Jarrell (Mary) of Temple, Ga., Esther Ruth Parris (Kenneth) of Temple, Ga., Annie Clyde Whatley (Joe) of Hartselle, Ala., Robert Rambo of Marietta, Ga., James Rambo of Atlanta, Ga., and George Rambo of Williamsburg, Va. Mr. DeLoach was born on Oct. 10, 1944 in Bay Minette, Alabama to the late Thomas Heflin and Frances Burge DeLoach. Pallbearers will be Thomas M. Huckabee, Brian K. Huckabee, Josh Fields, Frank Fields, Alfred Padilla, and Dwight Milligan. Honorary pallbearers are Southern Care Hospice and Couples and Singles Class at First United Methodist Church.
