The DECA DAYZE Project

Dec. 14 is the start of a fabulous three-day event called DECA Dayze. This event will help fund the cost to the DECA International Competition in Anaheim, Calif.  for the Demopolis High School students who will be attending.

This is not only a fundraiser but part of a “Learn and Earn Project” that  Sutton Aiken and Walker Davis will be competing in at the State DECA Competition.

“We have been preparing for this for quite a while, lining up all the events and collecting all the items for the garage sale and flea market,” said Aiken.

The DECA members have rallied support from the town to make this a great event for the holidays.  On Friday, Andi Turberville and the FCCLA will be preparing chili for all who purchase tickets. The tickets for the chili sale can be purchased at Demopolis High School or from any of the contact persons on the attached flyer.

Saturday, Dec. 15, the First Baptist Church gym will hold the Garage Sale and Flea Market, where local artists and vendors will have booths set up from seven in the morning until two in the afternoon. On the last day,  Sunday, Dec. 16, there will be a Christmas tour of homes. Tickets for the tour can be purchased at Perfect Touch Home. For more information contact Sutton Aiken at 334-341-3206.
