Task force recovers stolen guns

On Monday, November 16, the 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force recovered five suspected stolen guns from an abandoned vehicle in Boligee. Two of the guns have been confirmed stolen from the Moundville area. Agents are currently looking for a suspect in this case. Agents were assisted by Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Eutaw Police Department.

The 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force was formed in 2011 by District Attorney Greg Griggers and local Sheriffs and Police Chiefs to combat drug activity in Greene, Marengo and Sumter counties.
