Sweet Water band students receive accolades

Sweet Water High School band students excelled at competition.  Michael Mazingo, a ninth grade student, auditioned for Alabama All-State high school Band in

February. He was chosen for the White Band and for 2nd chair District Honor Band and was one of the top three in percussion, which enabled him to audition for the White Band chair placement.

District Honor Band March 2015 – Michael Mazingo was chosen to 2nd chair at District. Mazingo was selected as 4th chair in the White Band for the Alabama All-State High School Band in Mobile.

Michael Mazingo, Raine Taylor, Kaytlind Thompson were selected for the Flying Bricks Honor Band in Thomasville in March 2015.
