Student Council 5K raises nearly $3,000

The Demopolis High Student Council sponsored a Log a Load For Kids 5K run and kids fun run at the SportsPlex Saturday morning with all the proceeds going to benefit Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. The event raised nearly $3,000 for the council’s charity of choice. Delton Rhodes turned in the best time at the event with a mark of 20:37.
