Student Council 5K raises $2,500 for Log A Load

The Demopolis High School Student Council raised approximately $2,500 for Log A Load for Kids with its annual 5K run Saturday.

The event was sponsored by Boone’s Pharmacy, Drs. Greene and Whittaker Family Dentistry, Genesis Rehabilitation Inc., Jennings Service Co. Inc., Gaddy Electric & Plumbing LLC, West Alabama Watchman, Demopolis Lodge #49, Stonebridge Appraisal Co. LLC, NES Rentals, Lower Dixie Timber Co. Inc., Blue Ox Forestry Inc., Southern Timber Products, Farley’s Forest Products, Inc., Mid Star Timber Harvesting, Inc., Malone Wood Products, Inc., Sumter Timber Co. LLC and Georgia Pacific.

The Student Council is still selling T-shirts from the 5K for $10 each with all proceeds going to Log A Load for Kids.
