Songwriter’s Festival returns to Demopolis July 3

The City of Demopolis and the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to invite you to attend the Highway 80 Songwriter’s Festival. The Highway 80 Songwriter’s Festival will kick off the 4th of July holiday weekend on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the downtown square from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The Highway 80 Songwriter’s Festival will feature 10 artists, some of which are Demopolis natives. The line up includes: Derek Norsworthy, Christina Christian, Shawn Pffafman, Megan McMillan, Alan Hartzell, Steve Wilkerson, Amy Lott, Mel Knapp, Melissa Joiner, and Britt Gully.

This event is free to the public. There will be vendors available to purchase food and drinks, including Mug Shots, a crowd pleaser out of Mississippi.

Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening with a grand prize, a signed guitar by all artists, given at the end of the night. T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20.

This event also includes a children’s bouncy house. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!
