RBC robbery suspect receives sentence

WilliamsUnited States Attorney Kenyen R. Brown informed Robertson Banking Company last week that Tommie Lee Williams has been sentenced in connection with a robbery.

For his role in the robbery, Williams received a sentence of eight years to be followed by a supervised release of three years.

The robbery took place at 11:48 a.m. on April 22 at the downtown Demopolis branch of Robertson Banking Company.

Williams, 48, of Tuscaloosa was arrested April 27 by the Demopolis Police Department with the assistance of the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Department and the Tuscaloosa Police Department.
