Pine Hill man killed in car accident

A two-vehicle crash at 6:45 a.m. today, April 6, claimed the life of a Pine Hill man. Percy Lee January, 42, was killed when the 1994 Nissan Altima he was driving was struck by a 2002 International tractor trailer on Alabama 5 near the 13 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Kimbrough. January was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the International was not injured. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
