Shelton State Community College President Andrea Mayfield spoke to business, industry and government officials at Thursday’s Industrial Appreciation Luncheon held at Rooster Hall in Demopolis. The event was sponsored by the Demopolis Industrial Development Board. Mayfield stressed the need for partnerships between educational institutions, business, industry and communities. She used Dana-Suttles Trucking’s partnership with Shelton State to provide truck driving courses at the New Era Building as an example.
