Monica Cox ran in a half marathon in Montgomery Oct. 12. She completed the race in two hours, two minutes and 46 seconds. Cox ran the race in memory of Cody Webb, a Demopolis High School student who lost his life as the result of a car accident in May of this year. A scholarship fund has been set up in Webb’s name at Trustmark National Bank. Donations can be made to that fund by calling 334-654-1201.
