Miss COTR 2012 is…Anna Stuart Cramer!

The very stunning and surprised Anna Stuart Cramer was crowned this year’s Miss Christmas on the River. In a sea of beautiful young ladies it takes a lot to stand out. The preparation that goes into the pageant consists of finding the right dress, interview training and the right hair and makeup for each individual young lady.

These top five girls had it all. Fourth alternate, wearing a beautiful blush gown with cascading rhinestones, was Sommer Horshok. Third alternate was Ashlyn Hamilton with a glimmering silver, stone-encrusted gown. Second alternate, in a simply gorgeous white chiffon gown, was Victoria Washburn. First alternate, wearing a white chiffon gown with a burst of silver and gold beads, was Victoria Webb. This year’s Miss Christmas on the River, Anna Stuart Cramer, was absolutely dazzling in her jewel and pearl Sherri Hill mermaid designer gown. Also receiving one of the most treasured awards was Sydney Pettis as Miss Congeniality.

It was truly a night of glitz, glamour and true beauty. The girls in the court will all be at every one of the remaining COTR pageants on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Demopolis Civic Center. The remaining duties of Miss Christmas on the River and her royal court will be to attend all of the 2012 COTR events and represent them with their beauty and poise.

The Top 12 was changed to a Top 13 because of a statistical tie. The rest of the Top 13 were Marti Breckenridge, Alexandra Collier, Anna Taylor, Taylor Barley, Catlyn Cordova, Alexandra Poole and Asia Chancelor.

Cramer is the daughter of Darrell and Cinnamon Cramer.
