Ms. Mattie Owens, age 100, of Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest March 23, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services for Ms. Mattie Owens will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church, 119 South Ash Street, Demopolis, AL. Rev. Floyd Bell, Pastor of Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, AL will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion #2 Church Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the funeral chapel from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The remains will repose at the church one hour prior to funeral services on Monday. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements.
