Lutzenkirchen to speak in Demopolis May 13

Mike Lutzenkirchen, father of former Auburn student athlete Philip Lutzenkirchen, will speak on Wednesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Demopolis.

Mike speaks to all groups on behalf of the Lutzie 43 Foundation to carry Philip’s legacy. Philip, a former Auburn University tight end, lost his life in a single vehicle accident on June 29, 2014.

Mike, a native of Wheaton, Illinois, has been married for 29 years to Mary and is father to Amy (27), Ann (25), and Abby (21). Mike is a former two-sport athlete at Coe College playing basketball and baseball.

Mike’s career in sales, sales management and marketing included positions with Macmillan Publishing, Catapult Training, IBM, SpeedTracs and currently Vice President of Sales for Fuel My Club, a mobile app fundraising company.

Mike is also currently Executive Director of the Lutzie 43 Foundation, which carries forward Philip’s legacy through the education of students, student athletes and coaches. The Foundation focuses on leadership, charity, compassion, mentorship, hard work, honesty, and faith.
