Linden track wins three state championships

The Linden High girls 4×400 relay team stands atop the podium after its state championship win over the weekend.

Linden’s Tyroneisha Charleston won the state championship in the girls 100 meter dash Saturday with a time of 12.57 seconds. Her medal was one of three golds for the Linden High girls, which also saw two relay teams take state championships.

The 4×400 relay team of Tameria Aldridge, Tomysha Boykin, Dajia Miller and Jakaria Miller won state with a time of 4:23.04, finishing two second ahead of Whitesburg.

The 4×100 relay team of Jakaria Miller, Tamaria Aldridge, Boykin and Charleston finished with a time of 51.48 seconds for the state championship.
