The ESPN 104.9 Coaches Show honored Linden High quarterback and defensive back D.J. Charleston Tuesday night. Charleston received the show’s Player of the Week honor after completing nine of his 10 pass attempts for 220 yards and three touchdowns in a road win over St. Luke’s. Charleston also ran for 50 yards on two carries and intercepted a pass on defense.

The ESPN 104.9 Coaches Show crew recognized Charleston with a commemorative T-shirt at Batter Up Sports Grill Tuesday night as part of its weekly broadcast.

Linden is 2-1 and scheduled to host McIntosh Friday night in a region contest.
