Library announces Lunch and Learn with author Tanya Harris

The Demopolis Public Library is hosting a Lunch and Learn program and book signing with author Tanya Harris on Friday, Oct. 24. The “Lunch and Learn” starts at Noon and the book signing is from 1-3 p.m.

Tanya Harris is a native of Memphis, Tennessee who currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Her novel, Supposedly Broken, is her first published work and is the first of a planned series of three. The series features several cousins who have all experienced childhood tragedies that erected the protective barriers that frame their adult lives. Supposedly Broken, which released on April 29, 2014, has received many 5 star ratings.

“This book is absolutely phenomenal!, says Adrienne Michelle Horn. “I enjoyed it from beginning to end! I found myself becoming attached to the characters in the book. It will most definitely keep your attention. I read the book in 48 hours. Harris is the next best thing in urban fiction. I am anxiously awaiting the next book.”

Supposedly  Broken is available at the Demopolis Public Library, Amazon.com, Google Play, and Barnes and Noble. Bring your own lunch to the “Lunch and Learn” and the Friends of the Library will provide drinks and dessert. For more information contact Morgan at 334-289-1595.
