Lady Tigers thrash Thomasville

The Demopolis Lady Tigers (6-3) went to a running clock in the fourth quarter for the second time in a week Thursday as they drilled Thomasville 53-20.

Demopolis led 12-0 after one quarter of play and stretched the advantage to 29-3 by halftime to put the game away. An 18-11 run in the third quarter guaranteed the abbreviated game.

Demopolis saw Caleb Washington score 14 points to lead the way while Shakesaney Bell had 11. Ebony and Ivery Moore each had nine points for the Lady Tigers.

Shakira Campbell led Thomasville with eight while Ashleigh Kidd had seven.
