Junior Beta Club attending state convention

The DMS and DHS Junior Beta Club will be attending their State Convention March 9-11 at the BJCC. The group will be competing in many areas. There is one student who is running for State President. Her team will compete in a campaign skit after she gives a speech to thousands of students.

The DMS club will compete as a group in Living Literature, Banner Design, and T-shirt Design.

Individuals from both DMS and DHS will compete in special talent, academics subjects, quiz bowl, painting, recycled art, woodworking, wreath, and photography.

The group will take 71 students to Birmingham for this convention. The students have been working hard to prepare for the competitions.
