John Coate

John Early Coate age 95 of Thomasville, AL died Monday, October 15, 2012, at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born September 2, 1917 in Opine, AL. He was a former millwright with Weyerhaeuser.

He is survived by 2 sons, John E. Coate, Jr. of Thomasville, AL; Bill Coate of New York City, NY; 2 daughters, Cindy Spillers and Lee Coate both of Thomasville, AL; 2 sisters, Dorothy Coate Hortenstine and Agnes Carolyn Adkins both of St. Augustine, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Campbell Cemetery on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
