The sophomore from Windsor, Ontario hit for the cycle against Spring Hill, the first player to accomplish that feat in UWA history. He also tripled and homered against conference-leading West Florida. In addition, he scored six runs and stole two bases.

Holgate is currently hitting .333 with 11 doubles, eight homers, four triples and 36 RBI. Last season he played in 48 games, hit .306 and led UWA with 26 stolen bases on the way to being named GSC Freshman of the Year.
