IMG_1921When a close friend asked Kyle Thrower if he might be interested in working on a computer job for Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential campaign, he jumped at the chance.

Thrower now works online, raising funds for the popular candidate at give.bencarson.com/kylethrower. The Carson campaign relies extensively on social media fundraising. Thrower is quick to point out, however, that his position is different from the “Students for Carson” group.

“I’ve never met Dr. Carson,” said Thrower, “but he’s coming to Mobile in November, and I hope to get to meet him. I think he’s a great leader. He brings practical, logical decision-making to this campaign. He’s also a great Christian man, which this country needs.”

Thrower, a 2013 graduate of Thomasville High School, is now a sophomore at the University of Mobile. He works in the admissions office and plans to major in Intercultural Studies. After graduating from college, he hopes to work with local church plants or do mission work in West Africa. Thrower’s parents are Diane and Mitch Thrower of Thomasville.
