DPD busts four in drug investigation

The Demopolis Police Department arrested four suspects on drug related charges as the result of a recent narcotics investigation.

The DPD arrested Walter Evans Jr., 24, of South Industrial Park Drive in Demopolis for two counts of Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree.

The DPD arrested Krystal Hambright, 25, of 1319 East Pettus Street in Demopolis for one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Demarcus Crispin, 22, of Jackson Square Trailer Park in Demopolis for one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Christopher McKinley, 21, of 1302 Edgewood Drive in Demopolis for one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.

DPD Chief Tommie Reese noted that other arrests are expected to stem from the investigation.
