DMS trio gets state TIP recognition

Nadia Valdivia, Sarah D. Culpepper, and Emma Lewis received State Recognition through Duke University’s TIP program.

The seventh grade girls achieved an ACT score high enough to be invited to a banquet at University of Alabama Ferguson Center on May 19. Twenty-five students from Demopolis Middle School’s seventh grade class were invited to participate in the program based on their performance on the Spring 2012 Alabama Reading and Math Test.
